I have been so busy recently with the Stud side of the business www.BroadRiverStud.net that I haven't had much time to put to buying and selling, so i'm afraid this months page is a little sparse! I will update as and when new horses arrive though...
There are 4 new foals now, with 3 more mares still due, so do have a browse on the Stud's website! Foals are all for sale, and so far there are 2 palomino fillies, and a palomino and a buckskin colt.

Gentle Giant... Bonnie is about 17hh, 7yo and although not registered I would think she is a pure bred Clydesdale. She is broken a quiet to ride, although green on her own she is a very steady plod, the type you buy for your 'non horsey' other half to sit on following behind you on you're own horse! She is a real darling to have around, lovely to handle, & has bred a couple of foals in the past. I bought her to put in foal to Falko really, so if she's not sold this month I will cover her and keep her as a broodmare... NOW COVERED BY FALKO

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A MONTH MAKES! FIRST PICTURE ON ARRIVAL, 2ND PICTURE 1ST JUNE.
JUST arrived from Ireland, and still showing signs of a very hard winter, this will actually make a SERIOUSLY smart mare one day!
2 year old, to make 15.2 / 16hh, approx 14.3hh now, TESTED HOMOZYGOUS meaning that no matter what stallion she is bred to she will ALWAYS produce coloured foals!
She is a super, dead straight, big moving filly. Although she's not had much handling she is very sweet natured and you can walk up to her and catch her in the field etc... she just needs a little more grooming, fussing etc... She can be sold as she is now, or with a covering to any of the stallions. If she was bred to Falko she would be garanteed to have a buckskin or palomino & white tobiano foal.

11yo 16.2hh dark bay mare, by the prolific stallion Elegant Monarch, and out of a winning mare. 'Press' is a lovely old fashioned type of Tb, with loads of bone and very good easy movment. She was bred as a show horse (so never raced) and has been hunted and done some Riding Club Dress/SJ/XC etc before being put in foal (for the first time) last year. She is sold in foal to Falko again, her 2010 colt was a HUGE and very correct buckskin colt, also by my WB stallion Falko who is producing just the most STUNNING stock! Press is a tough, sound mare and was only put in foal as she is such a nice stamp of a mare with the intention of me showing her with the foal at foot, not due to any unsoundness or ailment, but I just dont find the time....
£2000 for the mare infoal for 2011, the 2010 foal is now sold.
